Idaho Pasture Pigs are known for their beautifully marbled meat, and ours are is 100% pasture raised. They get plenty of exercise, sunshine, and fresh forage, resulting in a better fat profile with higher levels of beneficial Omega 3 fatty acids.

Lard from pastured pigs contains high amounts of vitamin D (which many Americans are deficient in), A, E and selenium  – all of which are related to immune function.

Windswept farm works with Rising Spring Meat Co. in Spring Mills to process our livestock. They only work with farmers whose animals are well cared for and treated with respect, such as Windswept Farm.
